About Us
At ThinkyLabs, we are an international group of experts who study the thoughts and traditions that make us human; the humanities. We care about thinking critically and clearly, and teaching others to look at the world more deeply. Each of us either holds a PhD or is currently a PhD student, and we all hold research positions at top 1% universities across the globe.
Every day, we critically analyze texts, design and execute experiments, examine ancient artifacts, and explain complex ideas clearly and honestly so that we can help illuminate the past, improve the present, and make the future a better place for everyone.
Why ThinkyLabs?
Academia is traditionally a closed-off space. Our work is filled with jargon and hidden behind skyrocketing tuition fees and access to labs and libraries. The papers and books we publish are geared towards other experts and are either prohibitively expensive or restricted to obscure academic journals. At ThinkyLabs, however, we realize that there are intellectually curious people who want to engage with our ideas and appreciate the skills like critical thinking, visual literacy, and contextual reasoning that are fundamental to the humanities. Unfortunately, many people lack the resources and time required to do so at a specialist level and may feel unwelcome in the spaces where we work and research. As a result, ideas that should be readily accessible to everyone remain locked inside academia.

We transform the big ideas from art history, philosophy, literature, and more into posters and prints with all of the exciting discoveries and none of the jargon that you would expect in a university classroom. Everything we make starts with real academic scholarship that is reformatted to be easily accessible to everyone, regardless of prior experience or education.
